I called OH about this 'sharing' crap yall - SOUND OFF!

Although I am fairly open about things, I am against the sharing simply because we really do not have a choice as to who will decide to share. Many of us have mutual friends on FB. It is a very small world and I am often surprised at how various people that I would never DREAM knows family and friends in other states that do. One of my college friends in Oklahoma knows one of my cousins in Tenessee and I never even thunk that mess.

 I may not click the share option, but what if someone else does and God forbid some drama were to jump off on one of the forums as it often does. Lives could be ruined by a simple click and that's really not good.

I have a chronic illness forum where we often discuss detailed medical issues that we would not like shared with the world so easily. Someone may have a simple question that could be misconstrued.

Members should be minimally comfortable at the very least and this new feature has no way of providing that.

Thank you so much for the info.  I immediately went to my profile and hid everything I could.  I value my privacy.  My business is just that... my business.  I removed all my pics and will go over my info again to make sure that nothing ties back to me.  This is why I don't tell people anything.  I generally keep my issues to myself and deal with people that need it.  I felt like I could open up and feel comfortable here.  Clearly, that is not the case.

This sharing business is foul.  No notice, no warning, just poof! 

It's like 'smile, you're on Candid Camera', only we didn't' get the option to sign the permission waiver for our business to be televised!

Definitely agree that the sharing is NOT ACCEPTABLE. My Business, is MY BUSINESS to share ONLY with those I CHOOSE to share it with!! OH definitely needs to make a change!
